DESCRIPTION:The Wapakoneta Summer Moon Festival attracts thousands to enjoy a week of activities celebrating Neil Armstrong and the town he grew up in. The festival spans the entire town with events at the Armstrong Air & Space Museum\, throughout the Historic Downtown District\, in City Parks and at the Performing Arts Center. \nHighlights include a big music stage with live music\, food trucks and a beer garden. There are fun contests such as the Wiener Dog Races\, Fishing Derby\, Pickle Ball and Corn Hole Tournaments\, Canoe\, Kayak and Bed Races plus a Vintage Car Show and Antique Tractor Show.
